Genius Nightly Resurfacing Pads

Image
I wanted to do a quick blog post about the Genius pads. I had been noticing some fine lines under my eyes and realized that I had been forgetting to do my Genius pads at night. As soon as I start using these again, I feel like my skin looks so much better! The fine lines are definitely gone and I have people asking me what I am doing different, so it's not just in my mind ;) Here is a Video that explains the basics about Genius. I had 3 age spots along my left jaw line and I am now down to one and it is fading quite well. Here are some key points about this product: Plant based retinoids are used to reduce the appearance of dark spots and skin discoloration. With continued use, skin tone and clarity is more evenly restored. Phytinol helps promote the appearance of improved skin tone and smoothness, to deliver an even, less lined look. Mandelic acid increases the cell turnover which also aids in reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Here are a couple of before and after ...

My Favorite Product

Image
It is hard to think of trying to narrow down my favorite product to just one. In fact, it is impossible! You may or may not know that I have been a consultant with Arbonne for 11 years and there is a reason, or many, while I am still here using the products and recommending to them to others. I had my big experience that got me in Arbonne's door with their RE9 anti-aging skin care set. You see, I had adult acne my whole adult life. I would break out a couple of weeks before "that time of the month" and I wouldn't clear up until a week or two after it passed, which basically meant that I was always broken out in acne! I had recently moved to Idaho and was experiencing the drier climate and higher elevation and my husband recommended that I find a great skin care line high in anti-oxidants. Enter Arbonne. I was complaining about my dry skin at the gym and a gal on the treadmill next to me offered me samples of Arbonne and the rest is history ;) I immediately exper...

Updates on Life

Image
This past year has been quite momentous in my life. It is significant in the marking of time and seasons of life. Within 8 months, my 3 oldest kids all moved out. We are left with our 17 and 15 year old at home. My brother-in-law, Tony, moved in during the month of June. He moved here from California to be with family and also to help my husband, Victor, around the house more. Victor has had several injuries in his lifetime which make it difficult for him to do a lot of manual labor. I am grateful that Tony is here helping and it is all going smoothly so far. A rare photo with most of the family including significant others.  My youngest daughter, Emily, is in her Senior year of high school and she is a very driven and motivated and high performing student. She is taking several dual credit classes and they are very time consuming for her and her senior year has not been an easy one. She applied to the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho and plans to attend there this com...

Rescue and Renew Detox Scrub

Image
Arbonne's Rescue and Renew Detox Scrub      It is hard to think about highlighting a product a week when I love so many of Arbonne's products. I have been using them for 11 years now and have so many great experiences and testimonials. Recently, I had a hysterectomy, long story. When I came home from the hospital I felt like my skin was extra dry. I don't normally have dry skin and was wondering about this. Now that I can have my bath time back, I noticed an accumulation of dry skin which reminded me how much I need to dry brush and exfoliate.       Today I used my Rescue and Renew Detox Scrub and it was bliss! My skin was exfoliated, hydrated, so soft and glowing afterwards! It really felt wonderful and I was so grateful to feel good about my skin again, that I thought I would share more about this product with you.       Every time I research an Arbonne product, I am very impressed with what I learn. Our skin is ...

Introducing Koda

Image
This is a throwback since Koda is 18 months now! I haven't been blogging and I am trying to get back into it, so this is just a test to see if my blog still feeds into my Facebook or any other social media. I have big goals this year and need to get back into things that I have let go. Koda was born June 12, 2016 and has been one of the best things to ever happen to this family. I will blog about it more soon ;)
