Genius Nightly Resurfacing Pads

Image
I wanted to do a quick blog post about the Genius pads. I had been noticing some fine lines under my eyes and realized that I had been forgetting to do my Genius pads at night. As soon as I start using these again, I feel like my skin looks so much better! The fine lines are definitely gone and I have people asking me what I am doing different, so it's not just in my mind ;) Here is a Video that explains the basics about Genius. I had 3 age spots along my left jaw line and I am now down to one and it is fading quite well. Here are some key points about this product: Plant based retinoids are used to reduce the appearance of dark spots and skin discoloration. With continued use, skin tone and clarity is more evenly restored. Phytinol helps promote the appearance of improved skin tone and smoothness, to deliver an even, less lined look. Mandelic acid increases the cell turnover which also aids in reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Here are a couple of before and after ...

My Favorite Product

Image
It is hard to think of trying to narrow down my favorite product to just one. In fact, it is impossible! You may or may not know that I have been a consultant with Arbonne for 11 years and there is a reason, or many, while I am still here using the products and recommending to them to others. I had my big experience that got me in Arbonne's door with their RE9 anti-aging skin care set. You see, I had adult acne my whole adult life. I would break out a couple of weeks before "that time of the month" and I wouldn't clear up until a week or two after it passed, which basically meant that I was always broken out in acne! I had recently moved to Idaho and was experiencing the drier climate and higher elevation and my husband recommended that I find a great skin care line high in anti-oxidants. Enter Arbonne. I was complaining about my dry skin at the gym and a gal on the treadmill next to me offered me samples of Arbonne and the rest is history ;) I immediately exper...

Updates on Life

Image
This past year has been quite momentous in my life. It is significant in the marking of time and seasons of life. Within 8 months, my 3 oldest kids all moved out. We are left with our 17 and 15 year old at home. My brother-in-law, Tony, moved in during the month of June. He moved here from California to be with family and also to help my husband, Victor, around the house more. Victor has had several injuries in his lifetime which make it difficult for him to do a lot of manual labor. I am grateful that Tony is here helping and it is all going smoothly so far. A rare photo with most of the family including significant others.  My youngest daughter, Emily, is in her Senior year of high school and she is a very driven and motivated and high performing student. She is taking several dual credit classes and they are very time consuming for her and her senior year has not been an easy one. She applied to the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho and plans to attend there this com...

Rescue and Renew Detox Scrub

Image
Arbonne's Rescue and Renew Detox Scrub      It is hard to think about highlighting a product a week when I love so many of Arbonne's products. I have been using them for 11 years now and have so many great experiences and testimonials. Recently, I had a hysterectomy, long story. When I came home from the hospital I felt like my skin was extra dry. I don't normally have dry skin and was wondering about this. Now that I can have my bath time back, I noticed an accumulation of dry skin which reminded me how much I need to dry brush and exfoliate.       Today I used my Rescue and Renew Detox Scrub and it was bliss! My skin was exfoliated, hydrated, so soft and glowing afterwards! It really felt wonderful and I was so grateful to feel good about my skin again, that I thought I would share more about this product with you.       Every time I research an Arbonne product, I am very impressed with what I learn. Our skin is ...

Introducing Koda

Image
This is a throwback since Koda is 18 months now! I haven't been blogging and I am trying to get back into it, so this is just a test to see if my blog still feeds into my Facebook or any other social media. I have big goals this year and need to get back into things that I have let go. Koda was born June 12, 2016 and has been one of the best things to ever happen to this family. I will blog about it more soon ;)

Atlantis

Image
One of my favorite things about my Arbonne business is that most years I earn an all expense paid trip to somewhere beautiful 🙂 The last trip I earned was to the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. The beat thing about the trip is being surrounded by incredible people who are visionaries and global thinkers.  Normally you can't pick who you get to vacation with, but with Arbonne you know you will be surrounded by positive, energetic and motivated people. Here are some of my favorite photos.

The Power of the Mind

Image
I have been in a very good place mentally for quite some time now. Years of consistency and a positive mental attitude have resulted in incredible momentum in my business and peace and joy in my family life. I am so grateful everyday for my life and the people in it. I have my own little saying, "Life is a mind game". I have said this for years. Everything is in how we perceive it. I marvel at how people will react to the same situation in such a different manner. Another little thing that I have learned is that on the rare occasion that I think the worst of someone or some incident, I tend to be proved wrong, so I have decided to give people the benefit of the doubt. Back to the theme of this blog, the power of the mind. Business has been going very well lately. Most people that I meet with want to join my team and I have truly amazing and incredible people working with me. I am so impressed with the caliber of my team. The other day, I had met with several people ...

Nicole's Favorite Family Quote of 2012

Recently, I was working on chiropractic billing in my home office. I love working from home because the kids are usually in the room, one or more chatting about life. The best thing I overheard this year was a conversation between Cassidy and Emily. Emily, "Have you ever noticed that relationships get fixed at our house?" Cassidy, "Everything gets fixed at our house....PEOPLE get fixed at our house." My heart just felt so full in that moment. It is such a simple formula, be here and present for all who walk through the doors, listen and accept people unconditionally whether you agree with them or not. Love people, just love them. It seems that especially teens are not getting the love they need. Kids need adults in their lives in addition to their parents. How often have I mentioned that I love the village that helps raise my children? Yes, I love the adults that nurture and care for my children as I would when I am unavailable and I am here for their children...

You only have 18 summer with your children

The Boise Balloon Festival. I love that we usually have extra kids with us.  My beautiful girls, Emily, Morgan and Cassidy.  The whole family this summer, photo taken for Meridian Life Magazine.  My beautiful Cassidy down by the Boise River.  Donovan's graduation day.  May 25th, 2012 my oldest son graduates.  Donovan's Senior Photo  Morgan and Emily having a blast!  Victor tubing in McCall, Idaho this summer. The balloon festival in Boise this fall. Highlights of 2012 I have mentioned to many friends that a lot of things have changed in me this past year. I was on a path of getting quite a bit better, but in November I actually received some tough love from a good friend. She was so accurate with her assessment and I can only be abundantly grateful! It came at a time where I was becoming more aware of things about myself that needed some improving and I was open to even more improvement. The tou...

Jan becomes a Regional Vice President

Image
Jan's Journey to Regional Vice President with Arbonne Pictured with Monica Baconrind, Nina Henson, Nicole Sanchez, Jan Camp, Kerry Bradshaw, Elizabeth Thomsen Can we do this?  Yes, we can! Is this really happening?  Where are we now?  Down to the wire Jan and her husband, Ed, on the phone with our National Vice President, Christy Dreiling, discussing this triumphant moment! It's time to celebrate!!! The journey to Regional Vice President with Arbonne has been a long one for  Jan.  I have been on this journey with Jan for  five years now, almost six!! Jan has been in Arbonne for seven years. There are some people that go straight to the top and others are in for the long haul. Well, no matter what, we should all be in for the long haul. We often say that the best thing about this journey is who you become along the way, well, that and the people who come into our lives. When I started Arbonne, I k...

It's time to get uncomfortable

Image
There have been so many amazing things happening in my life recently. Most of them have been occurring inside of me and that is what is changing the external landscape of my life. So many people will say that the shift happens from something inside of them that changes. They are just meaningless words until the shift happens in you and you get the "Ah-ha" moment. I am going to attempt to put some of these feelings into words to share and hopefully help others along their path to being their best selves. One of the big realizations that I had was that I was never going to be comfortable again. In order to get where I want to go, I need to do things daily that make me uncomfortable. I have been rolling this thought around  in my head for quite some time. I basically came to the conclusion that I definitely want to be better every day and if that requires that I am uncomfortable, then, so be it. Well, in this last month, there have also been about four days that I have t...
